Description

A limited edition of the Darkness range, this Cambus - Single Grain - has been finished in small Oloroso Sherry Cask before being bottled at its natural strength. The small capacity of these casks, around 60 litres, increases the influence of the wood on the whisky. Intensely sherried, Darkness impresses with its very sweet, fruity and spicy aromas. An original whisky with a complex and remarkable character.

Riche, fruité. Cranberries, maïs, poivre.

Tasting notes

Nose : Dried cranberries and raisins, buttery sweetcorn, milk chocolate, parchment paper, and hints of black pepper.

Palate : Oily and mouth coating. Black peppered buttered sweetcorn, golden sultanas and dried cranberry , fresh ginger.

Overall : Sweetcorn lingers, with some milk chocolate, and herbal oak notes.
