BRUICHLADDICH 30 ans 1990 G&M

Since 2001, when the distillery reopened, it has been producing three very distinct single malts, Bruichladdich unpeated (60% of the production), Port Charlotte peated (30% of the production) and Octomore, the most peated of all Scottish single malts (10% of the production). This 30 year old version was distilled two years before the temporary closure of the distillery. Aged in Hogshead Sherry casks before being bottled at its natural strength in the Connoisseur Choice Upper range, this single malt has a pleasing blend of fruity notes of dried dates, baked apples and cherries, lifted by ginger and orange zest to finish with toasty wood. Of all the trading ranges in existence, Connoisseurs Choice is probably the oldest. Revised and modified several times since its creation, this range has preserved all its quality and essence.
