PEAT'S BEAST

Introduced at the end of 2011 by the British company Fox Fitzgerald Ltd, Peat’s Beast is a very peaty single malt from a single distillery in Speyside. The drawing of the ‘beast’ is the product of the fertile imagination of Doug Alves, a talented illustrator with an international reputation. Rich and monstrously peaty, Peat’s Beast is a tribute to the myth of a peat-hunting beast. The legend of the beast has aroused fear and fascination in Scottish villages since the 19th century. The beast is said to wander the windswept, rugged moorlands in search of fertile land rich in peat.
