Estate-grown in the highlands of Jalisco, Don Fulano is distilled by fourth and fifth generation agave farmers and distillers Enrique Fonseca and Sergio Mendoza in the legendary La Tequileña distillery in the heartland of the protected appellation: the town of Tequila.
The agaves used to produce Don Fulano are hand-selected to harvest only those that are fully ripped. Fermented thanks to the yeasts naturally present on the agaves, the juice is distilled in copper and stainless steel stills to combine concentration of aromas and elegance. The different versions are aged in French oak or Oloroso sherry barrels for up to 5 years.
Non-chill filtered and without
additives, Don Fulano sublimates the aromas of agaves through an expression
of the terroir and a unique aging method.
