Both artisanal and modern, the production of Arette is concentrated uniquely on a 100% agave tequila that is characteristic of the Jalisco planes. Greatly inspired by Scottish methods, Jaime Orendain perfectly masters the distillation process in a pot still and the ageing process in bourbon casks, waiting for three to six years before bottling the tequila cask-by-cask, a rare occurrence in Mexico. Arette tequila is produced from blue agave that is grown for nine years before harvesting. Depending on the final product, part of the tequila will be aged in ex-bourbon casks, before being bottled at the distillery.
