Nose : fine, balanced. A subtle blend of candied orange, fresh fig, honey and exotic fruits (passion fruit, mango), the initial nose is also characterized by notes of precious wood. Allowed to breathe, peat and smoke appear. They are remarkably well-integrated into the notes of polish and dried fruit (walnut, apricot).

Palate : clear, lively. The attack focuses first on exotic fruits (passion fruit), with particular tanginess. On the mid-palate, a very elegant peat takes over the palate. It is accompanied by spices (ginger, nutmeg) and red fruits (raspberry, strawberry). The end of the palate is characterized by notes of cut hay and leather. With lots of style, vanilla pod and cocoa bean highlight the sherry's influence.

Overall : long, noble. Malted barley, precious wood and peat coexist in extreme harmony. At the same time, ripe fruits (Mirabelle plum, greengage plum) bring lots of freshness. Gradually, flavours of pipe tobacco and camphor underscore its herbaceous and slightly medicinal character. With notes of soot and incense, the retronasal olfaction is particularly spiritual. The empty glass is at once woody (sandalwood), chocolate, fruity (passion fruit, sweet chestnut) and floral (iris, lily).
