The small capacity of these casks, around 60 litres, increases the influence of the wood on the whisky. Intensely sherried, Darkness impresses with its very sweet, fruity and spicy aromas. An original whisky with a complex and remarkable character.
Tasting notes
Nose : Minéralité de bord de mer, légèrement fumé mais plein de caractéristiques riches et charnues.
Palate : D'abord magnifiquement doux, il devient fumé, légèrement salé et fruité.
Overall : Des épices de Noël et un cacao chaud près d'un feu de bois. Riche et sans fin.
