Description
The Gimet distillery has elaborated this unfiltered and organic gin in collaboration with the Awen Nature distillery. The approach consisted in revealing, through the powerful framework of a London dry (maceration, then distillation of the plants), the typicity and the power of the plants which take part in its composition. The "Blurry Moon",
the "blurry moon", refers to this blurred effect produced by the absence of filtration of the gin, and the precipitate of the essential oils which compose it.
Tasting notes
Nose : Frais, mêlant citronnelle et résine de pin.
Appearance : Blancheur, légèrement trouble, « comme un nuage blanc dans un ciel bleu pur » selon notre maître de chai.
Palate : Frais, avec des notes de menthe poivrée mêlée à des notes iodées. Les baies de genièvre viennent structurer le tout, accompagnées d'une légère amertume conférant une certaine profondeur.
