Closed between 1932 and 1949, it doubled its production capacity in 1973, going from two to four stills. Full of character, the range of aromas and flavours in this sherry cask-aged version reveals this Highland malt in a more medicinal and earthy light than usual. At the same time, it is full of serenity, tactfully restoring the gentle expression that usually characterises the Blair Athol style.
