Description
Maî#P,&tre Tseng: evokes a lightly smoky red tea from the Fujian province, Song Yan, with its flavours of dried fruit (longan) and noble wood._x000D_

Tasting notes
Nose : incredibly smoky, roasted. First the peat weighs in with a super-charged distillate. Then notes of yeast and beer evoke images of the fermentation tank (washback). Finally, turned barley brings us to the malting floor. A sort of return to roots!
Palate : rich, highly concentrated. Creates the impression of witnessing the genesis of a single malt. We can imagine the peat vapours rising to the neck of the still, the heat of the distillation, the coppery notes and the soot-covered walls.
Overall : a little time is need for its tempestuous character to fade slightly. Nonetheless, it obstinately refuses to remain locked in by the wood. Its cereals clearly return. It becomes oceanic (smoked fish, sea spray, ink) and finishes with a touch of almond mar
