Tasting notes
Nose : Jammy tropical fruits. Beautiful evolution of demerara sugar going on burnt toffee, vanilla-cream and soft phenols. The bourbon barrels used for maturation shine through. The phenols are not usual and are very different.
Palate : Tropical fruits as in the nose and typical salted caramel, honey. The vanilla-cream is at the forefront. The texture of the whisky on the mid palate is silky with a note of mild citrus and banana. Due to the length of tropical maturation, the phenols are very soft.
Overall : Refreshing with a note of banana and peat.
