Aberlour 12 years Double Cask Matured is a single malt that has been double-matured in bourbon and sherry casks.

This particular version from Aberlour has been matured in barrels previously used for bourbon before being finished in ex-sherry barrels.

Nose : Extremely round and smooth with fruity notes (red apple).

Palate : Strong sherry notes, fruity aromas combined with the richness of cocoa, toffee and spices.

Overall : Warm and powerful with smoky notes.
