The Villa Massa produces a world-renowned limoncello using a family recipe that dates back to 1890. This liqueur is made with mainly Sorrento lemons, grown exclusively on the Sorrento peninsula and on the Island of Capri. Very well balanced, as well as the lemony flavours, this particular version is also delicately herbaceous and floral. The nose naturally wavers between lemon and lime notes, but also offers liquorice and almonds. Then notes of peppermint and basil transcend the aromatic palette. The attack on the palate has just the right amount of lemon. It leaves room for vanilla and white flowers to freely express themselves.
