All about making whisky
Stratheden Archivist (Deluxe) is a blend of malts with sweet notes (caramel and fruit cake) that evolve into more intense flavours of iodine and spice. The Stratheden distillery was founded in 1829 by Alexander Bonthrone in the Lowlands, near Fife. It closed its doors permanently in 1926 following the recession and prohibition.
The Lost Distillery Company is dedicated to reproducing the styles of Scottish single malts that were lost during the vast number of distillery closures during the 19th and 20th century. The Archivist range (also known as the Deluxe) is composed of small batches of exceptional Blended Malts. Each bottle is numbered and bottled at 46% without chill filtration or added colouring.
