During vinification of this port, the bunches of white grapes are crushed in the same manner as those used in red port.
A burnished gold colour with glints of orange, its complex nose is characterised by notes of apple, honey and mirabelle plum. The palate is well-balanced and silky, evolving generously into dried fruit (apricot), quince, prune and rose petal jam, underpinned by a superb acidity. The long finish unveils refreshing notes of rum and raisin ice cream.
