NARDINI Rosso

This bitter liqueur, particularly sweet and rich, is nevertheless fine and light despite its 24% alc., thanks in particular to the inclusion of natural vanilla and quinine in its recipe. This makes it a very rounded and accessible aperitif. It is the basis of the famous Mezzo Mezzo cocktail: 35 ml of Rosso and 35 ml of Rabarbo mixed over ice in an old-fashioned glass, to which soda and a twist of lemon are added. The most popular cocktail in Bassano, Nardini's stronghold, usually served in the late afternoon. As a cocktail, this aperitivo is also the perfect accompaniment to cognac.
