All about making whisky
Punto G grappa originated from the desire of Luca Gargano, of the wine merchants Vélier, to produce a grappa from the vines of Italian producers who have joined the ‘Triple A’ movement (Artists, Artisans and Agriculturalists). He teamed up with Gianni Capovilla to select the vines (mainly red grapes) of producers from Piedmont to Lombardy, passing through Tuscany and Friuli on the way. Having been distilled and left to mature for several years, this grappa with its intense aromas is certainly very close to reaching our “G spot”!
Profile: clean notes of pastry dough, butter and a hint of almond paste. Herbaceous, floral (iris), and saline notes; freshly cut hay. Ripe fruit (Charentais melon, prunes), citrus fruit (blood oranges), leather and shellfish.
