All about making whisky
Eyguebelle Liqueur verte is the first herbal liqueur produced by the Eyguebelle monks and the end of the 19th century. The recipe was elaborated by Jean Bessier in 1889. This liqueur is made of infused and macerated plants, flowers and roots which will be matured for 5 years in recycled cognac and Armagnac oak casks.Delicate and complex, Liqueur verte opens unpredicted flavours, meant to be drunk neat or in cocktail.
Tasting Tips: Unlike wine tastings, herbal liqueurs should be tasted breathing out. Carbone dioxide soothes taste buds and helps to develop aromatics notes.
