All about making whisky
The commune of Mesnil-sur-Oger, in the heart of the Côte des Blancs, only produces grand cru champagne, entirely from Chardonnay. There are a small number of high quality producers whose names are known by all connoisseurs. Despite their well-established reputations, these producers manage to remain relatively inconspicuous; Delamotte is certainly one such producer. Founded in 1760, it currently produces four different cuvées: a non-vintage brut, a non-vintage blanc-de-blancs brut, a vintage blanc-de-blancs brut and, lastly, a brut pink champagne.
