Usually known in the Flora and Fauna series, this Blair Athol is the first official bottling since 2003. It is also the first time that the distillery is represented in the Diageo's annual Special Releases. Aged in European oak casks that have been spreviously, toasted, recharred and refilled with fortified wine in the UK before being filled with whisky, the result is a deep, rich single malt. 5,514 bottles have been produced.
