All about making whisky
A completely new finish for this Speyside single malt, usually known for its smoky character: after an initial ageing period in bourbon and sherry barrels, this Benromach has been aged for another 29 months in Sassicaia barrels (a Tuscan wine, made primarily with Cabernet Sauvignon). In short, this is a balanced, smoky, fruity single malt, with a touch of Italian extravagance.

Benromach traces its roots back to pre-1960s Speyside and produces a whisky with hints of delicate smoke and a wonderful balance of flavours. Known for the high quality of its distillate, the distillery takes particular care in the production of its whisky. Indeed, Benromach’s three distillers carefully orchestrate every second of the distillation process and use only high-quality, 100% Scottish ingredients. Each cask is filled, weighed and stamped by hand, before being matured for a number of years in their traditional bonded warehouses. A vibrant illustration of tradition and modernity, Benromach is noted for its unique maturations and dynamic image. Find out more
